This photograph was taken shortly after I started working as a professional dominatrix. I came upon it recently, and although it is certainly not the sexiest photo ever taken of me, it makes me smile to remember what it was like to be a brand-new dominatrix!

The leather garter belt I'm wearing in this photo (you know the one - with the laces in back!) is the very first piece of serious fetish clothing I ever purchased. Sure, I had plenty of vinyl, but no latex or leather. I still remember going to Stormy Leather, slipping into the leather garter belt and just feeling amazingly sexy and powerful.

Now that I'm retired, I'm inevitably looking back on my dominatrix days through rose-colored glasses. I miss planning, then delivering fantastic sessions. I miss putting on an evening gown and full makeup at 11 AM. And, of course, I miss my favorite clients.

But, my career change has certainly been good for me. I do enjoy getting a predictable paycheck (with quite a nice raise). And, although I haven't needed them yet, it's reassuring to have health benefits.

At least I've got about a million pictures to remind me of my fun past!
